I have visited Knysna many times, usually during the oyster festival doing the cycle tour. I always enjoyed being there. Unfortunately the Knysna municipality seems to be unable to keep the condition of the roads in an acceptable condition (in line with the general upkeep of infrastructure in most municipalities). Exploring and eating our way around the area - going to the Heads Viewpoint, exploring Belvidere and the views to Brenton on Sea.
