They have done a great job of restoring the property in an old/new Cape style - just what we wanted. Everything works. The breakfasts were good and "hand cooked", plus fresh ground coffee. You can also store your own food/drink in their fridge if needed. The parking in the grounds is good. The location is perfect for penguins at Boulders and there is a swimmable public beach 200m away. It is a great base for the area, and there is a lovely garden & patio with chairs to relax in if needed. The friendliness and helpful local knowledge of the hosts was wonderful, from start to finish. There is a small swimming pool on the property but we did not use it as the beach was close by.

Debby was so friendly and welcoming. I immediately felt at home and welcome. It was a perfect stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. The location to the nice beach front areas of Cape Town were also so close, but removed enough to experience piece and quiet. Loved it.

We had breakfast at the beach venue which was just minutes away and of very good value.....nice location and friendly staff. Hosts Ray and Sanchia were so very helpful and definitely enhanced our stay. The property has invested in back-up power supply, so no load-shedding power outages, which can happen at other accommodations. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the view as you enter the room definitely catches your attention! Great view over the bay.
