Historical, but also lots of wineries etc. Not much to do if you're not a foodie, or outdoorsy, probably, but if you are, it's a bit different to the usual wineries. Tulbagh was pretty with historical buildings.
Tulbagh was pretty with historical buildings. Deli and Co was super to eat and early dinner at. We checked in and went to look at the town and eat. Didn't wasn't to drive around at night with a full car. We didn't bother with breakfast just left early after the awful night and moved on. Tulbagh is a hidden gem. My son and husband had a wonderful hiking experience! Me and my son paid a well established winery a visit and we were blown away by the way we were received and served. Lovely. Nice walks available, a Bistro, with good food, right there and very amiable hosts made it a delightful stay.We liked the breakfast delivered in a basket to our door and being allowed to leave our luggage earlier than book in time. The kitchen facilities were perfect to cook and the inside fireplace kept the cottage cosy. Our dogs loved the open garden and were kept safe inside the fenced property.
