Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Loved it here! Breakfast was great and loved when the fed the birds in the morning. It was a meal with a show. So many amazing colorful birds. The location is great. It's an easy walk into town, but far enough from the center that it's not too loud. Our rooms were comfortable. They aren't super modern, but were good. The pool was very refreshing and generally we didn't have difficulty finding a place to relax by the pool. The staff were all very helpful and kind. We were very lucky that 3 of the 4 days we were there, we could see the arenal volcano. The first day it was completely covered with clouds, but it eventually came out! Great view from the pool

Excellent service, property, facilities, food, and experience overall. Everyone made sure we felt welcome every step of the way and were even able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. The pictures don’t do it justice (the rooms are actually nicer than depicted on some of the photos!). They made our stay extra special by bringing treats to celebrate my mom’s birthday and Mother’s Day. We so much appreciate all the kindness and these sweet little gestures.

Great hotel with a lovely pool area and abundance of wildlife. Also very comfortable rooms set in lovely gardens. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is only a short distance from Puerto Viejo town and easy by tuktuk or bike.

Set in Fortuna, 4.6 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Cabañas del Rio offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. Great included night walk to see the frogs. Big and convenient apartment. Nice pool. Super friendly staff that even prepared a very tasty breakfast for us at 5am.

Great location — everything is close by: shops, restaurants, and convenient infrastructure. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything. I had a very positive experience, and the price was affordable.

Situated on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 900 metres from the Village of Dominical. Amazing property with lots of wildlife without even having to leave the hotel grounds. Restaurant was really good and the included breakfast was amazing.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Great place with plenty to do! We were a group of 7 and the facilities gave us space to be together and also relax separately. The hot springs, drinks, and pool slide were the highlights, while two of the group loved the Zipline. Breakfast and service were excellent, and check-in and parking were smooth.

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. La Roca Negra is like staying in paradise! The wildlife is amazing, particularly the birds. I saw dozens of species, just walking around, including many humming birds, tanegers, and a white hawk. I also spotted a family of agouti. When the weather clears there is also a view of the volcano.
