Outstanding service, impeccable room with full sea view from terrace and designer finish like new. The manager takes care of you with full heart - even helped me charge my EV through his personal phone app. The sand beach is 4 mins drive, even walking only 15 mins

The staff at the hotel were so kind and accommodating, making sure that everything was perfect for us. The rooms were always spotless and perfectly kitted out with the latest technology. Food was exceptional - delicious and delivered to rooms and to the poolside within minutes. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

The Donaine is set in the most incredible chateau and grounds. It is renovated to the highest of standards with a contemporary feel. Every single detail is perfect. The room was large more like a suite in the chateau itself with the most spectacular view of the lake. The bedding and pillows are so incredibly soft and the staff cater to your every whim. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Everything without a single exception: the pools, the little beach next to the hotel, the variety of food one could order during the day, the overall arquitecture and garden design, the spa, the massages and above all the team working the place.

What a special and magical place Demeure des Valette is! This was our second visit to this splendid hotel. The hosts Agnes and Elisabeth are extremely generous and welcoming. Elisabeth is such a wonderful chef: delicious soups, delectable, tasty and plentiful main courses and her yummy desserts being tarte tatin au poire then the following evening it was brioche perdu. We felt very spoilt indeed when my husband requested lamb for dinner and Elisabeth was only to happy to prepare this for us. The dining and breakfast tables were always presented with both care and pride. One night we enjoyed cheese, a green salad and crusty beside an open fire. The hotel itself is more than just charming with its decor and rustic surroundings it provides a calm environment made even more special by Elisabeth and Agnes. Thank you and until next time!

Exceptional property that I'm hesitant to praise too much for fear that everyone will discover it. HaHa.

We stayed at this beautiful guesthouse for three days while attending a friend’s wedding nearby - and honestly, we didn’t expect to discover such a warm, stylish, and soulful place here in France. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful and aesthetic charm of the property. It has a unique, almost Balinese touch - with lots of natural textures, wood, stone, light fabrics, and soft tones - that make the space feel effortlessly elegant yet cozy and grounded. It truly felt like a serene country house rather than a typical hotel - calm, spacious, and full of thoughtful details that show how much care went into every corner. But the real highlight, the “cherry on top,” were the hosts - Pierre and Caroline. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. They greeted us each day with smiles, prepared delicious breakfasts with love, helped us with anything we needed, and did it all with such grace and heart. Their presence turned an already lovely stay into something truly memorable. I tend to be quite picky about places I stay - I usually find something to criticize - but here, I simply couldn’t. Everything was spotless, thoughtful, and designed not just with taste, but with soul. We’re incredibly grateful for the experience and for the kindness of our hosts. We wish them nothing but joy, continued success, and many wonderful guests in the future. May their hotel continue to be a place where people arrive as visitors, and leave feeling like family.
