Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. It was good location with peaceful and beautiful scenery. The bed condition is best and delicious breakfast.The room is very clean. Please look around light house and backside of church. You can see beautiful swans and seagulls on the sea.The music through radio was also very nice. And all steffs are kind And I could see northern lights in midnight at back side of hotel. I can say the best hotel in my life as I want to live in Iceland.

Set in Akureyri, 39 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The room was new and modern, clean and spacious. Not exactly in the center of Akureyri but a very short 5-7 min drive which was great. We could park right outside the room and bring in our luggages through the terrace door. Great location for spotting the Northern Lights.

One of the best stay we had in Iceland! Recommended to anyone who want to capture northern lights without any disruption!

Set in Jökulsárlón, 11 km from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon Hotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. There should be a different category for hotels like this: a destination hotel :-) Of course we were road tripping across Iceland, so we never stayed anywhere more than 1 night, but if we had, it would have been here: wow! The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional, you can see that they enjoy working there. The food was great, the breakfast was wonderful, the lobby is fabulous, the bar and lounge were superb. The entire design and setup of the hotel is just perfect. We had a great room with glacier (lake) view. And don't get me started on the two outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor sauna: we enjoyed it until 22:00 hrs (thank you) after a long drive, and we enjoyed the next morning at 7 AM as well. WOW!

Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was delicious and good value, rooms were nice. Good location to site seeing in the area.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Really great location and best breakfast

Situated in Ölfus, 48 km from The Pearl, Hotel Kvika features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Everything in the hotel is perfect. The rooms are very clean, as are the bed linen and towels. Breakfast is very varied, always fresh and delicious. It is quiet and we felt like home. The people at the hotel reception are very nice.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. Location, the building itself, friendly staff, modern rooms, excellent restaurant and great breakfast.

Siglo Hotel by Keahotels in Siglufjörður has 4-star accommodation with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. One of the my best stays in Iceland. Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath, which the property also offers indoor sauna (but note operational at selected timings only). The room is lovely with a window overseeing the 'boat on the dock'. There is a common area for people to gather and chat, with central heating in the centre. The breakfast buffet was great too, served in the restaurant, and you get to enjoy nice views as well ... however, they close the restaurant when breakfast is over, meaning all patrons will be asked to adjourn elsewhere. The bar is open in the evenings, but pretty pricey so go easy on the alcohol :)
