Great rooms, evrything seems to be new and clean. Is easy to get there and then is self service so easy check in and check out. Great experience. There is a kitchennette in the building where you can boil water and use the microwave if you need, great plus!

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. We were traveling around Iceland and this horel was the best one. Hotel is located in wonderful nature by the lake, but only few minutes drive from Egillstadir. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh.
