Borgo dei Gatti in Golferenzo is a magical place to relax and to experience all the joys of the Italian countryside along with a lovely spa. There is a cat who welcomed us and visited each morning and evening. Paola, the hostess, is a gem of a soul— so thoughtful and sweet and charming! The daily breakfast in a basket is a feast! The pool has a lovely view. The various places to eat are splendid. It is a quiet, relaxing and rejuvenating experience to stay there. It’s location is off the beaten track, yet just 1/2 from the train station, where they picked us up. As an American, I loved every charming detail— all very reasonably priced for an absolutely splendid experience! I would give it 20 stars or more!

La Monastica is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The resort is like a secret garden unfolding across different levels—each terrace revealing new corners of serenity, from elegant pools to peaceful towers and cozy nooks perfect for unwinding while taking in the breathtaking views. The staff—Michela, Elena, Paola, and the entire team—embody true hospitality. Their attentiveness, warmth, and kindness are something truly rare and unforgettable. They made our stay not just comfortable, but genuinely heartwarming. The spa is a haven in itself. From the soothing massages to the jacuzzis enhanced with facial masks, every detail is crafted to melt away stress and wrap you in calm. The atmosphere is luxurious yet grounding—pure bliss. Devoti Restaurant deserves its own standing ovation. Set within a beautifully restored old church, the ambiance alone is magical. But the food—every single dish—was a revelation. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a culinary journey that left a lasting impression. The kind of dining experience you’ll tell stories about for years to come. And the breakfast? Absolutely divine. Every morning felt like a celebration—so fresh, so flavorful, so perfectly done. Truly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Visiting La Monastica was a dream come true. When we first arrived, the concierge offered us a tour of the stunning property. We were then escorted to our room, which exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, comfortable, well-designed, and boasted amazing views from the windows. The breakfast was not only delicious but also fresh and fulfilling. The staff demonstrated exceptional generosity, always remembering our coffee preferences and making us feel genuinely special. Additionally, they provided us with valuable tips and information about the surrounding area. The pool, with its beautiful vistas, added to the overall charm. Without a doubt, this is a place to celebrate special occasions and indulge oneself.

This was our first time at Monteverdi, and we’re already planning to return later this year. What was meant to be a three-night stay quickly turned into four, because everything was so wonderful — we simply didn’t want to leave. Here are a few of our favorite things about Monteverdi: First, the location and views. Each morning, we went on long hikes through the rolling Tuscan hills, soaking in the breathtaking scenery of this UNESCO-protected landscape. Every evening, we watched the sunset in peaceful awe. Time slows down here — and you truly learn to savor each moment. Second, the food. Every single meal was exceptional. The team sources fresh, local ingredients and crafts them into dishes that are both comforting and inspired. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, trying something new each time. And dinner? Even better. Riccardo and his team curated a seasonal menu that we absolutely loved — and since we dined there nearly every night, they even created a few special off-menu dishes just for us, which was such a memorable touch. Third, the experiences. From wine tasting at Le Ripi to day trips through charming nearby towns, there’s so much to explore. We also made time to relax at the property — the pool, sauna, and spa treatments were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. And above all, the people. Every member of the Monteverdi team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making us feel at home. Their hospitality created a space where we could truly unwind and be present. Monteverdi is a place that stays with you — and we’re already counting down the days until we return.

We loved our stay. The room was clean and suited our needs perfectly, but the real highlight was the staff at the property. Lucio went out of his way to make our morning breakfasts a core memory of our honeymoon. We will be recommending this stay to anyone looking to book along the Amalfi Coast!

Exception staff!! Roberto, Claudio and Paola went above and beyond. Beautiful boutique hotel. Extremely clean and tastefully decorated. Our room was outstanding and included a small balcony. We will stay there again on our next visit.

We stayed at the end of march. This place is amazing, very unique and a perfect mix of contemporary with a homage to the tradition and the landscape it sits within. The hosts were very hospitable and welcoming and obviously very proud of what they have achieved. The food was delicious as was the wine and our only regret was that we couldn't enjoy the place for longer.
