I had a wonderful two-night stay at Cwmbale Eco Lodge in Mbale. The lodge is beautifully situated on the slopes of Mount Elgon, offering spectacular mountain views and a peaceful, green environment perfect for relaxation and nature walks right from your doorstep.

Located in Fort Portal, 1.6 miles from Toroo Botanical Gardens Fort Portal, Palm Star Motel has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property was very clean, newly painted, lots of flowers in the inner courtyard around which all the rooms are situated. The staff were very courteous, nothing was impossible for them and they understood all our requirements very well. Even though they didn't have a campfire facility, they promptly arranged some firewood and lit one in the carpark itself for us to chill. They really showed that we are quite valued to them. Toilets are clean, well equipped with hot and cold water with high pressure on the tap. Very clean sheets and towels.

Novella Guesthouse is located in Arua, 30 miles from Ajai Wildlife Reserve. This 2-star hotel offers room service. At the hotel, the rooms come with a desk. It's very easy to access Aura town from this facility. Facility is overall very clean. The staff are very helpful, polite and pay attention to detail. Ben is very responsive and has excellent communication skills. Will definitely visit again

Located in Bakijurura, 1.6 miles from Lake Mburo National Park, Kigarama Wilderness Lodge Mburo has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. We really appreciated cool pool after driving on dusty roads. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The place was really original (especially the decoration) and clean. We enjoyed beautiful view.

Located in Jinja, 7 miles from Source of the Nile - Speke Monument, Stevalyn's Ridge View Lodge has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. Although it’s off the beaten path a bit, it’s well worth the effort to find this gem. The property is simply beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The staff is superb, the owners live on site, and they accommodated our every wish…including serving two special dinners for us and our friends from Jinja. It was like having a private chef.

Located in Kisoro, 7.5 miles from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Mianzi Guest House provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Just off the Main Street away from the traffic, helpful staff, lovely meals. I traveled solo and they helped me get to the national park for golden monkey trekking. Also amazing views to the volcanos

Facing the beachfront, Paradise Eco-Hub offers 3-star accommodations in Kabale and has a garden, private beach area and shared lounge. I loved my stay at Paradise Eco-Hub. the location was breathtaking, the staff incredibly kind and accommodating and the food delicious (esp liked my crayfish biryani). If you’re undecided which island to chose while heading to Lake Byunyoni, don’t think twice! great value for money. I was thinking that wifi would be too poor to get some work done, but in fact it worked seamlessly. I was even able to do video calls! we were just a few tourists though so that could explain that. I loved my birding tours with Tom, he’s amazing!
