We had a rather large, comfortable room with a large balcony overlooking the park, which was a great place to relax in the morning and after returning to the hotel in the evening. This chateaux had an impressive lay-out with some amazing common rooms - parking was just outside. We very much enjoyed the breakfast in the park, an experience completely different to what you will find in a typical (upscale) hotel. There are many things to enjoy in the area and we hope to return another time.

Hotel Les Rives offers elegantly modern and luxurious rooms, some of which have their own private terrace. It is situated in the Domaine du Lac, which also includes Hotel Du Lac.

First and foremost, Guillaume, the manager of the facility, was an amazing person! He was very warm, hospitable and helpful to me and my family. My room was very large and comfortable. It was equipped by some additional stuffs which are very beneficial for any guest. The hotel and my room were very clean and hygienic as well. Breakfast was also various, very delicious and satisfactory. Another important thing is if your travel with vehicle you can park it to the park area of the hotel free of charge! Last but not least, cost/benefit balance is great! If you are to visit Colmar, don’t waste your money with expensive facilities at the city centre. La Maison d’Emilie is spectacular option!
