I should start with staf, they are like a real family. I have travelled in all island, this is the best hotel to look from outside, but it was magnificent from inside as well. Beach is close, pool is awsome and quiet and breaktfest was amazing. I highly recommend Ilio Mare Hotel Don't worry if you are a Vegan, u have a lot of things there too. ( but please don't be a vegan when you are in Thassos, specifically for breakfast and dinner at this Hotel )

The hotel is really a 5-star hotel, in all aspects. We were warmly welcomed by the owner George, and he couldn't have been more accommodating. Our flight landed very early and an early check in was very much appreciated with two young children. We loved the room, it was a great size. Lovely big soft towels, replaced daily. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were cleaned and turned down daily. The beds were extremely comfortable and the small front terrace was great to sit and watch the kids in the pool and have coffee in the morning sun. Internet connection was very good, we could work easily. The communal areas are well maintained with comfortable and stylish furnishings. The pool bar was well stocked and well priced. The kids liked the novelty of the hotel owners two friendly dogs and greek cats. Breakfast was perfect, simple good quality and had a lovely dining area. We would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit in the future.
