What a wonderful hotel! The staff was so nice and welcoming. The room was amazing - spotless, the bed was comfortable. We slept like babies. It was super quiet, you don't hear the noises coming from other rooms or the hallway. They offer free coffee/tea in the morning, and a free beverage at 5 pm, which is cool and you get to meet some other travelers too! We walked almost everywhere, but there were many buses/trams around.

Restaurant was delcious! The breakfast is average, but good. Nothing to complain about! :) I would return!

the staff were fabulously helpful and the pool was a welcome bonus, breakfast was ok again the staff were brilliant. just to mention a few who went above and beyond in our opinion, Josh on valet parking, Natasha, Nitisha, Wanda, pretty much every member of staff was friendly and very helpful a really good team thank you

My stay as a solo traveler in this hotel was better than expected. Located in a well-preserved old building, the hotel's atmosphere is unique and cozy. The reception and the restaurant have a unique character with amazing details and furnishings. Even if you are not staying in, it is worth stopping by for brunch or dinner. The staff was also amazing, with a very welcoming attitude and always checking for any requests. I will definitely consider staying in this property again.

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about THE BENSON CURIO COLLECTION BY HILTON, in Portand, OR. My sister and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for 4 nights and we felt like we had rubbed the right Genie Lamp! Our every wish was at it's command. The reception desk employees could not be more helpful; when we called for service for our room, our request was quickly taken care of, and by the nicest, kindest, most courteous employee, Ms. Jamie. The room was spaciously large, sparkling clean, the beds very comfortable - when we checked in when we said we were there celebrating our mutual Birthdays, they upgraded our room!! My sister and I had been chatting to ourselves about "wouldn't it be fun to be able to tour the Presidential Suite"...joking, knowing something like that would never happen. To our utter shock, we got a visit by the traveling quality control inspector, the sweetest, most generous, joyfilled Ms Jackie, who upon hearing of us celebrating our birthdays, wanted to make it was ultra special, so granted our wish for a personal tour of the Presidential Suite, where we toured the entire suite, and experienced the luxury that it is. Then to our surprise, Ms. Jackie presented us with two vouchers for 2 free glasses of wine, AND a $50 certificate off a meal in their THE PALM COURT. We already had had one dinner and one lunch there prior to our receiving the certificate, and we had NO PROBLEM AT ALL in having dinner there again, as their menu and meals are delectable!! Our waiters John, and Bobby whom we had the delight of meeting, have both been employed at THE BENSON for over 40 yrs each. They took care of us with professionalism and joyousness. My sister and I really felt like VIP's in every aspect of our stay, highly recommending to anyone to stay at THE BENSON CURIO COLLECTION BY HILTON, PORTLAND, OR."
