The room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable and beautifully designed. The dining room was lovely and clean and the breakfast very good without the overwhelming range of choices in many places. Everything was well laid out. More than this, the staff were so kind and friendly, welcoming everyone individually into breakfast, and they let me stay late in my room to do a webinar without charge and then waited to receive the key.

I loved the heavy oak door, the stairs, the ceiling beams. Very good mattress too. And caring friendly staff. Perfect location at the canal side and a few steps from the old center.
