The lady with French, Dutch/Flemish background (sorry forgot her name) at the front desk made us feel really welcome to the hotel. She escorted us to our room and got us a reservation in the restaurant before they closed for lunch, wow, amazing ! The Hotel is very chic and rustic at the same time. Location to the Castle we walked to after dinner with entry $2 EUR per person was fabulous. The room had a small terrace and the room and bathroom had plenty of space. The breakfast was nothing short of wonderful. The restaurant we had Lobster Paella with Sangria and Lemon Meringue and a Torres Brandy with coffee, they even heated the snifter for me, classy.

This air-conditioned property is 300 metres from Villajoyosa beach, while Benidorm is 15 minutes' drive. They kept it very clean. We liked the room, it was comfortable and fairly spacious. And the location was just excellent.
