The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.1 km from Ayr Beach. Denise and John are fabulous hosts. They helped us with restaurant bookings, directions, things to do and even rang Avis for us as we had major phone issues. We had the best nights sleep in quiet, comfortable accommodation.

It's set just 5 minutes’ walk from Ayr’s centre with its shopping, dining, and nightlife. Breakfast was fantastic, bed was super comfortable, and Jan (host) was great to chat with! The spacious rooms are elegantly decorated, and each has a luxury bathroom with fluffy robes and free toiletries. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, and some have scenic views of Goat Fell. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. The receptionist (?Holly) was lovely when we arrived. She even sorted our last minute dinner reservation which was very welcomed after a day of travelling. The hotel is beautiful with stunning gardens and surrounded by excellent scenery. Rooms are huge & comfortable with good showers. The restaurant food was lovely and the breakfast excellent. I would happily stay again.

Set in a grand Victorian house, the elegant bedrooms at Braidmead are individually decorated and each has a private bathroom. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities and a cosy seating area. So palatial and roomy we didn't expect and the staff couldn't do enough...definitely recommend this as a must.

Breakfast was excellent! The host Allan was very helpful and gave good information.

Guests can enjoy sea views of the Holy Isle from this property. Such a beautiful spot!! The kitchen was so well equipped and cosy, and the lounge is comfy and has stunning views. It was even better than the photos. Lovely lovely place. Highly recommend!
