Nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Wilton House, Salisbury Cathedral featuring “The Magna Carta”, Wardour Castle, Old Sarum, Longleat Safari park and Paulton’s Theme Park featuring Peppa Pig World. We are only 1 hour from Bath, and there are a host of fabulous golf courses and fishing areas, plus some of the most beautiful riverside walks. A lovely riverside pub called The Bridge Inn Woodford is a 5-minute drive away and has a stunning pub garden overlooking the water. A giant Waitrose Supermarket is within a 10-minute drive. The best place we stayed on a 3-week tour of the UK. My toddler learnt a new word - wow! We loved it. Felt very homely, not like an Airbnb that has had all of its charm stripped away. Nestled in the quiet Wiltshire village of Upton Scudamore, The Angel Inn is a beautifully restored 16th century coaching inn. It is decorated with natural wood furnishings and features a restaurant, a bar and free parking on-site. The room was spacious for two people and the bathroom was quite large. The towels were soft. The mini fridge had complementary orange juice and a small jug of milk for tea and coffee, as well as some water bottles. There was a nice cereal selection, as well as the sandwich offered for the breakfast the next morning. The shower heated up to a good temperature and was consistent. I liked both the large waterfall head and the hose. The fan was also nice to have!

Just a 15-minute drive from Stonehenge, The Pembroke Arms offers a restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is situated in the Wilton Estate, and Salisbury can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

The hotel is furnished with a colonial, Rajasthan theme, and features a range of antiques and locally made furnishings. Amazing interior, very traditional. Exactly what we needed for our English village experience. Great food, friendly staff. There is a place for young people outside with interesting activities, and indoor - a quiet, beautiful space with a fireplace. Breakfast was excellent. Price was very reasonable. All the experience was beyond our expectations.

Rollestone Manor B&B and Restaurant is a beautiful, award-winning Grade II listed historic house, located just minutes from the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. Bath is less than an hour's drive away. Free WiFi is available in the main areas of the house and the rooms. Dinner was excellent. Room lovely.

Exceptional Stay at Quidhampton Mills Quidhampton Mills is conveniently located very close to Salisbury, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional, and the flat was beautifully decorated with a warm, homely touch. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Lesa was a fantastic host—she provided clear communication both before our arrival and throughout our stay. She thoughtfully explained local attractions and even provided us with a detailed information folder, which was very helpful. The kitchen, though compact, was a pleasure to use. It was well-equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and a full range of utensils—all in immaculate condition. I’ve never had a better experience staying away from home. The property also features a secure parking area with 24-hour access via remote, which added to our convenience and peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place to anyone visiting Salisbury. Thank you, Lesa, for making our stay so enjoyable. We truly hope to return to Quidhampton Mills in the future!

Each room has an en-suite and is either a bathroom or wet-room. Tea/coffee making facilitird, a hairdryer, flat-screen TV and ironing facilities are provided. What a great find this was. Lovely place that has recently been revamped according to the owner Bob. I arrived early and knocked on the door to ask if it was okay to leave my bag and car whilst I went off with a colleague. Bob immediately ushered me inside and gave me a key to my room. The room was very spacious, clean and well decorated. And the bed was probably the most comfortable I have slept in. I usually struggle to sleep away from home. Not this time, I was out like a light. Breakfast was really good, fresh produce cooked perfectly. The team here are really friendly and I couldn’t have wished for a better stop over. I would definitely stay here again.
