Clifden is only a 10min drive so you're still close to shops and restaurants, but nature is right on your doorstep. We were received warmly by the host, Lydie, who gave us information about the area and showed us the room. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, there were home made jams, almond coconut paste, chocolate paste and caramel. So tasty. Also a selection of fresh fruit and of course pancakes or full Irish. All in all we had a great time and loved our stay!

With free parking, Claremount House is situated next to Salthill beach and just up from Salthill main promenade. Breakfast was excellent, home made bread, scones, anything you wanted. Bathroom had shower gels and hair products, bedroom had dressing gowns, water and chocolate bars.
