The first impression of venue exceeded our expectations with decor, beds, bathrooms. I have never seen the display of fruit that was on offer for breakfast.

Hearty, full Irish breakfasts are served, and free Wi-Fi is provided. Really comfortable, pleasant stay with nice breakfast and lively staff.

The Granville Hotel in Waterford overlooks the River Suir and is a 5-minute walk from St Patrick’s Cathedral. It offers free internet access and, an award-winning restaurant.

Rooms at the Hotel Granville include bathrooms with baths, showers and heated towel rails. They also have safety deposit boxes and there is a 24-hour room service menu. Special request were fulfilled in advance, despite being kinda nonsensical. The staff got a good sense of humour and the breakfast was great!

The Elva Restaurant offers fine cuisine on its a la carte and table d’Hote menus. The spacious 1843 Bar boasts a lovely riverside terrace and live entertainment at weekends. In the comfortable lounge guests have access to internet facilities. Everyone is so friendly everyone wants to help you and the people around here are pretty sociable. The view from the hotel is gorgeous and the food is pretty good. I really recommend this hotel because it is one of my favourites so far.

The spacious rooms at Tannery Townhouse have elegant, pastel-coloured design and lots of light. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, a fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. Location was very central. Room was cozy and bed very comfortable. The bathroom space was great; large shower area with a powerful water spray. Breakfast next morning was exceptional - menu choice very good. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.
