Everything was perfect, the location, the dorm, the view from the rooftop, the staff, the events (make sure to book the sunrise), they make you feel like home very instantly. Also make sure to battle Dwisha at the karaoke night please :) you’ll meet a lot of backpackers this is a very social place and I cannot wait to come back. Even just to hang out with the team work. The interior design is to die for. The service is impeccable and the hotel manager is sweet, helpful and caring. The restaurant serves excellent food and very reasonably priced. And the location is perfect. Truly a 5 star experience!

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Situated on a hill, it has a rooftop restaurant and terrace offering city and lake views. Everybody that comes to Udaipur should book this hotel. the staff were incredibly helpful and really nice. They helped us hire a Tuk Tuk for the entire time we were there and it was just so easy to contact the driver whenever we wanted to go somewhere and know that we were getting a fair price. The air conditioning unit in the room was very powerful and made it very comfortable to sleep in considering we were there in peak summer. Bedrooms were incredibly beautiful, authentic and traditional feel. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was right in the center of the old city with a view of the lake as well as being close to the city Palace. Is there anything I didn’t like?
