Occupant un ancien bungalow de l'époque coloniale, l'établissement The Elephant Stables est implanté dans une belle propriété avec vue sur la verdure de Kandy. This place is lovely. We loved the family tent, which is a small appartment in itself, with a lot of space (parent’s room, kid’s room, living room, big modern bathroom). It was very clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The set up for pool and meals is gorgeous.

Everything! 😍 It was a nice surprise The hotel is in the high part of Kandy ( facing knuckles mountain and a golden Buddha), the view is spectacular. The Sky Pavilion is a jewel, decorated with taste, it’s quiet , clean and rooms are beautiful all with the stunning view on the mountains and you can also relax by the pool The manager takes a good care of his guests and the staff is really helpful and nice . They will help you with everything, visits, food and drinks , transportation , money change etc… In addition, the cooking is really good , the breakfast is top ! And finally , their Tuk Tuk driver is a gem, he will take you to the best places in the city . I will come back there .

A big bonus for the swimming pool and great service. All in all a good place to stay. You need a TukTuk to get there, which they arrange free of charge :)

L'hôtel est perché au-dessus du lac, loin de l'agitation de la ville et a une vue incroyable sur Kandy. Nous avons eu la chambre 102 , avec balcon avec vue sur le lac. Très grande, ,m elle pouvait accueillir 3 personnes sans souci. Le personnel très souriant est aux petits soins tout en étant discret. Possibilité de payer par carte ou en euro.

Le Settle Inn Tourist Lodge est situé dans un cadre semi-rural, à seulement 1 km de la ville de Kandy et du temple de la Dent. Personnel très attentionné et aux petits soins, le petit déjeuner européen est bon, le rapport qualité prix est excellent. L’emplacement proche du lac rend les déplacements faciles. Endroit très propre et bien entretenu.
