Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

She warmly welcomed me and provided invaluable insights into the local culture and Karoo Nature. Reinette’s extensive knowledge made exploring GR and Karoo National Park relaxing breezes. Reinette’s engaging conversations and genuine hospitality made my five days stay truly pleasantly.

Staff (especially Anthony) was very nice. Very helpful and the facility was very nice and better than expected. Very peaceful, clean and felt safe. Took a taxi which was fine and a small store close by. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Free WiFi is available. The family room was great. We had hot water in the shower. There is also an air-conditioning for heating, but we haven't used it. In the winter, the rooms are quite warm. We ate there once, and it was delicious. I highly recommend staying at My Pond.
