I have had a perfect stay here. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Beatiful surroundings. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. Good connection to Lucerne City centre and to Mt. Pilatus cable car. Very friendly and attentive staff and hotel manager.

The room is very, very big and beautiful we put an extra bed in the room but it is so big it was not noticeable at all. The bed is very big and comfortable and the shower is luxurious. Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests. Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation. It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views. Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-) Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.
