The room is a solid 4-star quality, and reasonably-priced considering it is High Season.
Alpine decor lends considerable charm to the room and the public areas. Matterhorn view from my room.
Proactive and friendly staff. Prior to my arrival they asked me for my train schedule so they could meet me at the station. So many hotels around the world, having taken your reservation, don’t care if you can find them or not.
Location unbeatable for Zermatt, on main road and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel’s own restaurants are well-patronized and beautifully decorated.
Good breakfast with eggs cooked to order and the usual Swiss layout.

Due to the closure, I was given Mont Cervin Palace which absolutely is stunning. Good facilities, cute horse carriage pick-up service from train station. You have to try the gelato from the restaurant, it is top-class!
