A people and dog friendly hotel with style. Fantastic rooms and facilities! The city centre is a short walk away, easy access and parking. The whole staff were very helpful!

The hotel is right next to the train station. It is new and clean and the personnel was amazing.

The room was bigger than we were expecting and very clean. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English - they gave us a kettle to use when we asked as there isn't one in the bedroom. Although the reception is round the corner from the building we were in, it was clearly labelled and the staff helped us to find our way. There were some cute touches such as some sweets when we entered and complimentary drinks in the mini fridge.

Everything was great. Staff were outstanding.

A New Gem in Duisburg I recently had the pleasure of staying at Emmas Hostels Duisburg, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. This new hostel is a true hotspot, boasting a prime, triple-A location that's just an 8-minute walk from Duisburg Hauptbahnhof and right in the city center. A high-quality supermarket is literally around the corner, and a variety of restaurants are within easy walking distance.The hostel itself is a perfect blend of old and new. The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious, with a modern, post-modern interior design that still respects the classic character of the building. The attention to detail is evident, from the flawless baseboards and walls to the overall layout. The Wi-Fi is fast and stable, which is a huge plus. I also slept really well in the comfortable A quality bed. The bathrooms are practical, and the showers are great. I also appreciated the well-equipped communal kitchen on each floor, which includes a washing machine, a large, cold-storage fridge, and all the necessary cooking utensils, plates, and cutlery.What truly makes this place special, however, is the staff. The charming cleaning woman I met was a superwoman(incredibly nice and hard-working). The manager, Baran, is a standout. He is extremely social, intelligent, and skilled, and he makes every guest feel completely taken care of. He's very approachable, can discuss anything with you in multiple languages (including excellent German and English), and goes out of his way to fulfill your wishes. He's also very responsive on the app. The man I spoke to on the phone when I called with questions was also very kind and quick to assist.I highly recommend booking a stay at Emmas Hostels if you're ever in the lovely city of Duisburg. It's a wonderful place with a great atmosphere and even better people.

We were here for a wedding and stayed the whole weekend. We booked 3 rooms And since we had a 3 month old baby they gave us a bigger room for baby bed.. which was very thoughtful of them One of rooms smelled heavily bad due to cigarette smell but the staff came and changed the bedding and pillow and offered complimentary coffees. The staff was very kind and good people. We had a very nice stay and would definitely come back here.
