Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá - The Leading Hotels of the World is located 300 metres from Madrid's Royal Palace, the Royal Theatre and the Cathedral. Everything: the reception when you arrive, the room was very spacious, the bed and pillows were heaven, the food was really great. I had to leave before breakfast and they prepared a little to-go bag with fruit, coffee, juice, a sandwich etc. Everything was perfect.

One of the few hotels that really deserves a 10. Professional staff, the reception is open 24/7 so anything you need they are here to help you. Very clean rooms which is most important for a hotel. They have a wonderful restaurant which in my opinion is one of the best in Madrid. The location is in the center of Madrid, just a few meters away you have the metro, so you can easily travel and visit other places. Recommendation for this hotel, and I will visit Ocean Drive again the next time I come to Madrid.

Francisco I Boutique ligger knap 250 m fra Madrids Plaza Mayor og Puerta del Sol. Der tilbydes døgnåben reception samt enkelt indrettede værelser med eget badeværelse, tv og gratis wi-fi. Love, love, love the location!! Very near the Church of San Gines and even the famous Chocolateria San Gines! Walking distance to Plaza del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Gran Via. It's a boutique hotel and it gave us a very cozy, relaxed feeling. Our room had a balcony overlooking Calle Arenal which had the Christmas lights on and gave you the holiday vibes. Breakfast was good and if you prefer to have brunch outside, there are a lot of cafes in the area. The hotel also has a Christmas photo corner setup right outside the entrance where people would dropby and have their photos taken. My husband and I also appreciate the fact that the hotel takes good care not only of their guests but also of their Filipino staff.

Flot bygning, både udvendig og indvendig. Ligger 50m fra plaza mayor. Generelt var der utrolig mange seværdigheder, butikker og restauranter i området. Flot område med mange flotte bygninger og hyggelige butikker. Værelset havde en fin størrelse.

The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation. We had everything we hoped for. Super clean room and comfortable beds to sleep in after all the walking. Great location. Steps away from the Royal Palace. We spent 3 days in Madrid and from the hotel we walked everywhere. We would highly recommend Hotel Opera.
