On the good side: I got upgraded to an apartment. Super comfortable beds. Wonderful shower. Super clean. The kitchen had almost everything you need to cook. Super hospitality and assistance by the caring Alberto. Elevator to the 5th floor. Very close to Earl's Court underground station which has easy access.
If you get there early before check in which is at 4:00 p.m. you can sit in the waiting room or leave the luggage there. The place is secured and there is someone at the desk 24/7 which is awesome!
Note that there is a 150 year old elevator to the 5th floor, so if you're on the 6th floor you have some stairs to climb, however, you can ask for assistance and they will be glad to assist you with luggage. As it being a very old elevator it is expected not to work smoothly all the time, but because it's the only elevator - they do everything to get it working again as soon as possible.
