Wow, what a location. I couldn't imagine anything more central. You're in the middle of everything. Weirdly, it wasn't too loud at night either. It's a bolthole whilst also being comfortable and somewhere you can easily spend a few hours before you build up enough energy to go back out into the craziness of central London.

The location is perfect for anything you would want in London. Baker street station is a few steps away to go to any museum, gallery, concert , theater ,venue or restaurant you may want and you have any shop needed just around the hotel. We even used a laundry a few blocks away with perfect and fast service to refresh our clothes in a multi city trip.
We stayed in a superior room that was spotless , very cozy, quiet and comfortable with a nice view of very typical London surroundings.
Front desk staff very friendly and professional.
The lobby areas and hotel Restaurant truly upscale, pleasant and comforrable. We arrived via Eurostar and travelled back from Heathrow via Paddington Heathrow express and via Uber to and from the stations to the hotel. Very practical , relaxed and at reasonable costs.
I fail to see the issues of some negative reviews that made us doubt a little. Everything was perfect for our stay. We will definetly stay at the Holmes when in London

Beautiful hotel, loved he restaurant area under the glass roof. Breakfast was excellent. Our family room and bathroom was very spacious. Pool and spa-area was great, we appreciated that our children could use the pool too at some hours. Child friendly hotel. We would love to come back.
