We stayed at the hotel for two weeks with our five children. I've seen other comments that the staff is not friendly. I could see why people think they are not friendly, Hong Kongers are not overly friendly in general. That being said, the staff was very accommodating and took care of anything we asked. Our flight out didn't leave until 7PM and they held our bags at the concierge after check out until we needed to leave for the airport while we did some last minute shopping. The hotel is very close to the MTR station and the bus stop, so it's very easy to get around. There is a grocery store, pharmacy, and Mc Donald's right by the hotel. It's also only about 10 minutes by bus to the New Towne Plaza, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, and the beginning of the 10,000s Buddahs trail. We loved the relaxing pool and the gym is great. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to visit Hong Kong.

Can’t praise this Hotel enough. The rooms are newly- refurbished, spacious, modern and clutter-free! The bed, bed sheets and pillow are so comfortable. The floor is clean. Multiple plugs too (see photo). The staff are helpful, polite and pleasant. The location is at Sha Tin MTR station but also plenty of buses to take also. A41 bus is the airport bus right outside the hotel!

Only a 10 to 15 minute walk from Sha Tin Wai MTR Station, Regal Riverside Hotel boasts views of Shing Mun River which is lined with beautiful vegetation.

The room and the view is amazing, some of the best in Hong Kong. The choice of food is very good and we liked the Baiwei Village the best.

We stayed in one of the club suites, and the service was some of the best I have ever experienced. Staff were extremely accommodating of our children, and catered to our dietary restrictions. I was not so confident the hotel would look like what it was on the internet. However, the room, the quality, the cleaniness, and the staff are all great and yes, all are true to what's shown.
