We felt so welcomed by the staff at the Green Lagoon. The place is utterly magical and a wonderful quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the cities. The owner takes great pride in this establishment and it is full of fruit trees which you can eat from daily. We absolutely loved all the animals there, including their pets Tom and Jerry, the cat and dog. The room is spacious and luminous, the bed was so comfortable, my best sleep in Bali! While there the owner spoke to us about Balinese traditions and their ways of life, we felt part of a big family.

The food was really nice, the staff were so friendly and helpful, it was so quiet and we felt like a local. The little village it is set in was a really nice snapshot of Indonesian life. The local beaches were great. The pool was superb and when it was quiet I could even do my laps in there which I loved! My child who is fussy loved it the most out of all our stays in Bali.. We will be back! The beds were very comfy. The showers were great too. We loved hiring the motorbikes for the very easy drive to the beach. The beach was very beautiful and there was even surf lessons if you wanted. If we didnt have children with us we would have just walked. But was fun to do both. The massage was the best balinese massage we have both had. Very worthwhile. We were there on mothers day and was a great way to celebrate. Thankyou.

Best choice for it’s cost. Pretty big room with a fridge, kettle with tea and coffee, working space, big and nice bathroom with a shower and also access to the roof top with really good view, where enough space to do yoga or any other activities. If you are looking for a not expensive room in Balian beach - this is definitely the best place

Before we arrived, we saw a review mentioning construction at the property, but during our stay we didn't notice it nor did it bother us. The little work that was being done was near the parking, far away from the rooms, restaurant and the pool. The resort felt calm and relaxing. During the night you could here the sounds of the surrounding nature and the sea - we loved it!

The villa is stunningly positioned with sweeping views of Balian beach, so close you can smell the ocean air and hear the waves. We loved the close proximity to the beach but it was even easier to sit on the pool while soaking the view in. I loved the house design and cool modern retro furniture. The location is far away from the craziness of other areas such as Canggu or Seminyak, and reminds more of how Bali was like 15 years ago. There were a decent amount of local restaurants. Pizza from Balian cafe was excellent. It was the perfect place to simply chill and let life slow down a little.

This was an excellent place to stay in Balian. It was spacious and comfortable. A very good location as well! Rista and Putu looked after us extremely well. We will be staying again on our next trip to Balian.

Villa is next to the restaurant with excellent breakfast and food in general and there is quite a few restaurants close by. Pool and villa are cleaned daily, and anything we needed was dealt with quickly.
