I stayed here alone back in August and told my friend we must go stay at this great hotel. Anyway I couldn't remember what it was called and booked it for us as had an event in yaffo telling her its not the one that i stayed at....duh! I got there and found that yes this is the one, margosa. The name obviously didn't stick. ONCE again loved it. Standards were still as high. The staff really and truly actually care that you have a good stay there. I got lost trying to find their parking (which BTW is major plus point that they have underground parking) and the manager came out and into my car to properly direct me! Location amazing. We had a great room with a large patio balcony. LOVE the breakfast, love the outside patio we had it in. Also so clean and spotless that you could eat your dinner off the floor! Definitely the only place I'm coming to in yaffo. Delightful.

The breakfast was lovely. It's a small hotel so the choices are limited but fresh and tasty. One may eat indoors or take one's food out onto the rooftop deck, where there is a view to the sea.

The staff were brilliant Samuel and his team couldn’t do enough for me. Very welcoming and helpful. I loved the retro feel to the hotel. It was like going back to the 1960s. Bedroom was adequate, air conditioning worked well. I had a lovely balcony looking over the street. It’s a bit old fashioned, this is the type of hotel I imagine Kim Philly the spy living in (if he lived in Tel Aviv rather than Beirut). I liked the communal bathrooms. It was like being back at boarding school, except the shower water was hot and the pressure better. Tel Aviv is an expensive city. I’m sure Drisco’s Hotel next door is more comfortable but you would be paying at least five times more. It’s good value for money. The location was excellent. Ten minutes walk to Old Jaffa town centre. 15 minutes to the port and excellent fish restaurants. Five minutes walk from the beach. Very near the Elfelet light rail station.

Very good place, lovely high ceilings and spacious studio. Good facilities with communal washing machine and dryer. Close to Jaffa and the beach and a 15-20 min walk to the city centre. Would stay again.
