The property is located in the city centre of Calcutta, you can walk almost everywhere and the bus stop is right in front of the hostel. The stuff is amazing, very helpful and always there for anything you may need. i felt comfortable and safe during my stay at the hostel. The rooms are mixed dorms with AC and super comfy beds. All the facilities are clean and the whole house is being cleaned daily. They have lockers and a cool common area with an open kitchen. Huge shoutout to all the stuff working here for making this place feel like home. I extended my trip from 1 night to 4 nights in a blink!

A very comfortable room with A/C and great facilities. It also has a smart tv which I found very useful for the evenings. You also have use of a fridge and a kitchen area. The hosts are lovely and really helpful. There is a metro station a short walk away which I was using to explore the city. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in Kolkata.

I loved Calcutta Bungalow. It is a unque property in Kolkata and in my opinion it deserves 4* within the category of boutique hotels.
- Uniqueness: Since you enter the property you feel good. The decoration is very nice and full of antiquities. The property is very well maintained and clean.
- Staff: The hotel manager, Mr Mohammed Ayub Khan is very elegant and attentive. He showed me property and told me about its history and how they got all the nice furniture. He made sure at all times that I got assisted and he treats his employees well.
- Comfort and cleaning: the rooms are very spacious and very clean. They all have a massive smart TV and all the necessary electricity converters that an international traveler needs. The bed was very comfortable and my room was not noisy (I actually heard birds in the morning). The design of each room is unique.
- breakfast: it is served in the terrace upstairs and it was really good with both continental and local options. Room service is also good
- contact: you can contact them via WhatsApp for anything you need. Very efficient

They need to arrange a certificate for booking the foreigners guest . Today they don’t have it and booking.com should be inform this information in their site as well.
Unfortunately, I booked this hotel and but I could not stay there as they said they cannot confirm my booking after they saw my passport. Anyway, I will manage another hotel to stay in the kolkata
