The hotel was located right across the street from the Chinese fishing nets. The sunsets are absolutely stunning from this location. We had the Princess suite and it was gorgeous!! Beautifully furnished with lovely touches of flowers on the bed, very large veranda with a view and the bed was sooo comfortable!!
There is a beautiful garden with a pool where people can have meals in a very serene setting.
The staff are extremely welcoming and warm and helped us with all sorts of questions and even held our bags when we returned from our travels so that we could rest before driving to the airport.

Breakfast was homemade and brought to the room. Dev’s wife prepared French toast as a treat at the weekend.
My room was perfectly comfortable, clean and safe. The common lounge area has a microwave and was well stocked with water, tea/coffee and a range of useful crockery/cutlery. So easy to help yourself without disturbing Dev or his staff.
The homestay has a rooftop garden, well tended and a lovely place to sit out. Next time I will book one of the rooms overlooking the greenery.

Elzas Fort Inn was a such a vibe to be in. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. We couldnt reach at the time we had informed, but our hosts waited for us and made sure we were safe, fed and comfortable.
We booked a room with 2 double beds, attached bathroom and with 3 mini balconies. The room and bath were very spacious, clean and tidy. The building on the whole is so beautiful! Gives instagram-able vibes.
The hosts will help you with anything from places to visit, places to eat, how to reach their place, ferry timings, or whatever it is that u want to know! Give them a call before you reach if you have no clue as to how to explore Fort Kochi and they'll give you an idea.
Would recommend their place 100%!!!

Josey's Homestay is a bit special - Josey and her brother really look after their guests - I had to leave for an early morning flight and they kindly made breakfast for me. They offer to do clothes washing if you need it for an extra INR 200. I could make tea in the littke kitchen and there is a communal dining / seating area. The rooms are simple and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower works well. I used the ceiling fan - if you need A/c their is an extra charge. I prefer fans. It was in a great location in the old Fort area and e cellent value for money.

Tissa’s Inn is a lovely smaler hotel in a quiet street in central Fort Kochi within walking distance from the sights. The hotel is beautifully decorated with antiquities and the rooms nice and functional and everything spotlessly clean. And on the top roof there is a relaxing pool area. It is very well managed and the staff is very kind, efficient and helpful. They arranged a car with driver for us for a long round trip in Kerala, everything was perfect. We had a good communication with Sanitha about the car rental and other things, and she responds immediatly. We highly recommend Tissa’s Inn.
