The chef was outstanding, the rooms were spacious, the building felt luxurious for the price we paid and the service was very attentive and friendly.

Ganesh Ayurveda holiday home was a great find. The location was just what we were looking for after 7 weeks travelling around India. A very quiet restful home overlooking the lake. The rooms ( I think 8 in total ) all have balconies with chairs and a table. The staff are very nice, especially Murugan the manager and the cleaning ladies. Breakfast is excellent with coffee or tea, a bowl of fruit, followed by an omelette and toast and jam. There is a very large clean pool which was great to cool off in. Overall I can highly recommend this property if you are looking to relax. Murugan can also arrange tuk tuk to Kovalam. I’d also recommend an early morning walk around the lake…excellent. Murugan can also arrange Ayurveda massages at the property.

I had a truly beautiful experience staying at Coco Homestays. Subin and his wife were incredibly helpful, friendly, and easy to talk to — they made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Subin kindly shared with me some sacred local places to visit, which was very meaningful for me, as the purpose of my journey in India is to pay my respect to Hindu gods and devas. The location of the homestay is perfect — peaceful and very close to important temples and spiritual sites. They also recommended delicious traditional local food, which I thoroughly enjoyed! The room itself was clean, comfortable, and just what I needed to rest and recharge after temple visits. Brilliant hospitality and homestay! I needed some guidance to get to the spot, but the entire stay was wonderful once I got there. Nice, clean, and spacious rooms. Very peaceful location with the river right behind. The room had a large balcony facing the river. Best part was that Aunty made me an appam for dinner and a tasty breakfast in the morning. Felt quite homely. Uncle dropped me to the airport at the end. The entire thing worked well for me. Hopefully, I could have got there earlier and stayed longer.
