The location was excellent, and the room itself was perfect for us - large, well provisioned, and well maintained. It was quiet, with lovely views, and everything we had hoped for. Breakfast in the bistrot downstairs was added bonus.

The apartment "Casa Vacanze Gombito" was impeccably clean, comfortable, well equipped, careffuly decorated/romantic (representing the old citty of Bergamo itself), greatly located in the heart of the beautiful old city, few minutes walk from the short cable car ride where you could get easily public bus to the railway station or even airport. Just 5 min walk from Bergamo's old city main square and 5min from bus station or funicular station. Big room, very clean, with the best sheets and towels I have ever experienced in a hotel! City view room has windows to the old city's narrow streets. Lots of cafes and restaurants and bars in walking distance, soundproof windows, ambient atmosphere inside the room, amazing bathroom with rainforest shower and low light.

The room was great and the host was amazing - extremely accommodating and helpful. We got some great recommendations for places to visit in the city, as well as some nice suggestions for restaurants around the area. When we come back to Bergamo, we'll definitely stay here again!

Much larger room than expected. Our hosts Titina and Nadia were very welcoming and gave us ideas for sightseeing and things to do during our stay. They also provided discounted tickets to a local exhibition. The apartment is very central, just 1 minute walk from the funicular.

Literally, the great location: heart of the old city, next to the funicular and a supermarket next door with everything you need (working till at 9 p.m.). The magnificent atmosphere: the building itself, the huge entrance door, the long staircase, the lovely courtyard surrounded by stone walls, the beautiful view from the windows, the sounds of church bells. Comfortable both bed in the bedroom and a fold-out sofa in the living room. Good bed linen and towels provided. Great bathroom! If necessary, you can easily cook your own food in the kitchen. The hostess is always in touch, quickly responds to messages. It is also very convenient that you can always leave your luggage in the hostess's office after check-out before going to airport.
