Great location with the train station and close 10-12 minute walk. We had the attic room with great access to the room garden which was a bonus. Loads of bars and restaurants close by. As first time visitors to Venice the owner talked us through how to get around and what to see. Also gave us recommendations for bars and restaurants.

First of all the staff was really excellent- always friendly and helpful. Property itself was well located in a fairly quiet district with still plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and all the tourist attractions within a walking distance. Being pleasantly close to railway and bus station made the arrival and departure convenient. Breakfast in the hotel was great- not maybe the widest variety of food I have seen, but everything was fresh and tasty and I did not miss a thing. I especially liked that warm egg dishes were not prepared in advance and kept warm as it mostly happens in hotels, but instead were made freshly when ordered. Beds and pillows were comfy, even for the 3rd person in the room. In most cases there is a very uncomfortable couch for the extra person, but not in this hotel- at least the room we stayed in I would not doubt to recommend for 3 visitors.

Hotel Moresco was fantastic. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our bags were whisked up to our room and we were offered a welcome beverage while they checked us in. Once we made it to our room, we were very pleased. The hotel has temperature control, lovely furnishings, and very comfortable beds. Water is complimentary and there’s a stocked mini bar. The bathroom had great lighting and the shower was very nice. There were plenty of outlets including one on either side of the bed. The bed had two pillows per person which is a must have for me! The location was very convenient to access from the train station and the plaza where you can grab the bus to the airport. It is slightly separated from what I’d consider “downtown” but still very easy to get to the grand canal in about 15-20 mins walking. They also offer complimentary apertivo snacks starting at 6:30pm every night, and you can order a cocktail and relax in their lounge area. Also, the breakfast was fantastic, they serve eggs to order, great cappuccinos, and a variety of fruits, yogurts, meats and cheeses, and bread/pastries. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!
