We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Hanakoyado. The room was comfortable. The private onsen did not require reservation and it opened the whole evening and morning for the hotel guests before the check-out time. The Japanese dinner and breakfast were meticulously prepared with local ingredients. The free parking with shuttle service was also attentive and reliable.

The facilities are very perfect. Ie. shuttle bus from/to hotel to train station and ropeway, varieties of gold and silver onsens in one place are stunning we didn’t have to go other onsens to try both of them. Dinner and breakfast are excellence. Staffs at front and dining room are very professional and great service mind.

All the meals (breakfast and dinner) were great!!! Kaiseki dinners were delicious and the menu changes if you stay more than one night. Location of the ryokan is centrally located in the town.

All staffs are very kind and they provided high quality of services. Onsen was great and also Kaiseki dinner was awesome and delicious. Stay at Okuno Hosomichi was an unforgettable time for us. Although she did not speak fluent English, she definitely tried her best and we both used Google translate pretty effectively Room was mix of modern and traditional, very beautiful (rooms in the East Wing have been recently renovated) Onsen facilities nice - particularly enjoyed the outdoor bath Nice indoor bath in the room Walking distance from town
