Absolutely the best location you can get for visiting theme park. Non collab rooms (cocoons) are still worth it as you get the same awesome service! You will get retro mobile cell phone which will let you to communicate with front desk and ask for a ride between activities in the park or delivery of your luggage even after checkout! The stuff is super nice and polite. Room is very specious and really beautiful, especially if you are into the wooden aesthetic. You will get some fresh fruits and free wine which you will be able to enjoy in the private bath or at your private balcony. Thankfully to Grand Chariot we were able to get the most remarkable experience and good memories of our stay.

Near train station, quiet neighbourhood. For interested people McDonald on the ground floor. Room was really nice and bigger than most of the hotel rooms. It's a bit far from centrum of Osaka, but if you don't mind travel, go for it.

GRAND NIKKO AWAJI is located across Akashi Strait Bridge, a 20-minute drive from JR Maiko Station.

We chose this hotel because it is part of the the expansive Awaji Yumebutai gardens and architectural masterpieces designed by Tadao Ando. It was amazing to walk around the grounds and see the open air theater, gardens, sculptures, and more. Loved the breakfast buffet, too! Beautiful views from every room.

Room is bigger than most Japanese 3-star rooms (trust me I have seen enough). Even comes with tubs and dressing table/safe. Staff are really accomodating and try their best to meet your needs, I even get extra pillows and towels in a jiffy. Amenities are great, washing machines, public bath, free beverages; nothing more to ask for. At their current rates, everything is a steal.
