Excellent hotel in the middle of Kyoto. The hotel is new, just opened, very beautiful, great style, combining modern and classic japanese style
Rooms are very big (!!!), very wide, a lot of space next to beds, size that is not common even for Europe, letalone for Japan (we had a room for three). Price is also very very good. Personnel super profy, the whole place has a super cool vibe. We also stayed in Kyoto at another hotel, at the same price, and they don't even begin to compare. Also very close (10 min walk or less) to Teramachi shopping street, and Nishiki market.

The room (one for two people with private bathroom) was very clean and although tiny for European standards, it was quite comfortable. The location is amazing! In a nice neighbourhood with many things to do around, in walking distance to main attractions and quite well connected. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is the option to store your luggage for free. I would totally recommend it.

the room and bathroom are beautifully appointed and smartly laid out. lots of space and super clean. The staff were all so helpful and courteous! they kindly listened to and helped with every request. location is perfect - it’s in a very trendy part of Kyoto with lots of cool shops to browse, and great restaurants, and the main attractions were walkable or just a short cycle or train ride away. there’s also a really great bike rental place right around the corner (Good day velo). There’s a really nice communal kitchen/lounge area and coin laundry machines, which we used twice during our stay - very helpful for our long travels!
