The place is really easy to find, just take the 12 exit at Kawaramachi station. It’s only a few minutes by foot, in quiet streets.
The hotel is near all the best attractions in town and you can reach them by foot.
The staff was very nice and some speak a fluent English.
The room was taller than expected, with this lovely mezzanine. During the check in, the staff will give you a few informations and a useful plans of the area. The room was clean and sleeping on a futon was fun.
This hotel has a real atmosphere. I highly recommended to stay there.

The staff was really kind and always available if you had any questions, they gave us good recommendations and good advice for how to get to arashiyama in the fastest way possible (better than google maps).

The staff is very friendly and speaks english. The room was small as expected but everything is very well organized and enough for 2 people with 2 luggages. It was clean, there are a lot of amenities on the lobby. The free coffee of the machine in the lobby was very tasty.
The hotel has a good vibe, the sake degustation is a good idea. I didn’t taste the breakfast but it seems complete. There are a lot of options for bars and restaurants in the area.

The reception was really nice and kept our luggage until the evening after sightseeing and shopping and also the next day after we checked out until the evening. The room was big, especially for Kyoto, while still being the most central hotel I have stayed at there (Nishiki Market, Temples, Shopping, Train in 5 min walk distance). The beds were comfortable and big, shower and toilet seperated and a variety of amenities were provided. The Breakfast was a buffet with hot and cold food, western and japanese so for everyone.
I will definitely stay there again next time and would recommend it !
