The reception was really nice and kept our luggage until the evening after sightseeing and shopping and also the next day after we checked out until the evening. The room was big, especially for Kyoto, while still being the most central hotel I have stayed at there (Nishiki Market, Temples, Shopping, Train in 5 min walk distance). The beds were comfortable and big, shower and toilet seperated and a variety of amenities were provided. The Breakfast was a buffet with hot and cold food, western and japanese so for everyone.
I will definitely stay there again next time and would recommend it !

Been in this hotel twice. Highly recommend it as it as everything one might need and is superbly well located close to Gion and Gion Pontocho areas. The room and bathroom are not big but that's very common in Japan.

Artistic yet practical deign, spacious, and impeccably clean. Comfortable bed, beautiful and well-functioning bathroom with good storage space, and easy access to wonderful bars, restaurants, cafes, and shops. It also has a 24-hour gym. Staff are friendly and professional.
