Fantastic staff. Great facility. Great value. Great location. The food quality was fantastic. It's one of the best breakfast buffets I've had at hotels. The complimentary ice cream, drinks, and even ramen... left my parents speechless. Will definitely book again the next we are in Kyoto.

Coming from Tokyo, we had a very small room before. This one was great, with enough space and a shower that let us renew ourselves every day after a long walk. I wouldn't think twice about returning to the property during my next visit to Kyoto. Very kind staff who spoke English. They let us leave our luggage before checkin which was handy.

We liked everything, except the hotel didn’t have a charger for an EV vehicle. In this modern day world you would expect a modern hotel to have EV charging stations. 12 o’clock check out was perfect I must add. That extra hour gives the guest a little more time to do shopping and check more things off the to-do-list.

Friendly staff, comfortable room and sleeping arrangements. Loved the sake bar in the evening and that they had cardgames we could play with our children while we enjoyed it. They even had extra pillows with different levels of firmness in hallway!
