Probably our best ever hotel experience, right from check in where you’re greeted with coffee and sweet treats, all the way to the dinner which was exceptional! The private onsen in the balcony with views of the mountains was a highlight.

Absolutely loved our stay at Izumiso! We opted for no dinner and the staff gave us a map of their recommendations around the area, all within walking distance. The onsen was beautiful and relaxing

Very Shows era. Very Japanese. Typical Japanese onsen hotel. Quiet and relaxed. Geared for those who like to use the onsen several times a day and relax in their room in between.

The personnel was really nice, they wanted to help us with everything. We couldn’t get the local bike rental app working, and we asked if there was any possibility’s for renting a bike. When we came back from our room, the two woman that worked at the check in fixed two bikes for us!

The house Is Amazing, very old structure makes you feel you're in another era. But everything needed for comfort is new and modern.
The hosts are super super nice and communicative. And the location is perfect for the city. Right next to Matsumoto castle
