Very convenient location and very good facilities. I was especially grateful for the special shuttle arrangement made for me by the helpful staff after a huge JR signal problem caused hours of delay and cancellation of numerous trains.

Slowlife was awesome and offered all the facilities that you’ll need for a great ski trip. Breakfast was tasty with a good range of options, the perfect way to start a day on the slopes. Amazing high end accommodation located just a minute ride from the gondola parking lot. An amazing property, with beautiful common space. The property is surrounded by trees in a very quiet and serene part of town. Parking is provided nearby less than 1 minute walk away from the property. The interior is all high end, luxurious materials, beautiful furniture, comfortable beds and amazing bed sheets/pillows. It was indeed an amazing stay.

I had a car and was able to use the carpark but did have to move the car daily for snow clearing. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from the Grand Hirafu main area. The are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. They had a gear storage area in the ground floor with an entrance by the bus stop. The bus to Grand Hirafu and Hanazono was at the entrance of the hotel so it was very convenient. The rooms were decently sized and comfortable. The heater had hooks so it was easy to dry gear in the room.

We stayed 4 nights in a double room with ensuite bathroom. The room was spotless, staff was super friendly and very helpful from the beginning till the end. They offer a mixed Japanese/Western breakfast and have a very convenient in-house ramen place for dinner. Also, a little convenient store is right across the street. Shuttle service to the ski resort as well as from and to the local train station. One evening during our stay, they even hosted a Japanese cultural event for the guests. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend this place!
