This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations!
We could always find at leat an English-speaker staff member (which is not given for granted in Japan!), the room was comfortable, quite, and clean.
The thing we appreciated the most was the care and the attention to customers. I wrote to the hotel before my stay to highlight I'm lactose intolerant and I found plenty of options for me during breakfast. On my first day, I asked whether tehy had lactose-free yogurt (e.g. soy yogurt). They didn't have it; however, from the second day, they provided soy yogurt just for me, and without me explicitly asking for it. It was such a nice gesture and I truly appreciated the care they showed.
We really recommend this hotel!

The pods were extremely spacious and the hostel was extremely clean, especially the bathroom. There was plenty of storage too and the hostel attracted so many nice and social people. I made great friends there as a social traveller and also the location is really great too, you’re so close to many places. Kaz and his dad were also amazing, always giving great recommendations of places to eat and visit, and they were so friendly and kind too.

The cats were very well looked after. We had a lovely time playing with them. The staff were very attentive to the cats and spent lots of time cleaning up and feeding them. It is also a rescue and 2 were adopted while we were there. The hotel / Ryokan was very comfortable and clean. There were lots of lovely places to eat nearby. We would definitely stay again

It was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean, the neighborhood around the hotel is very cool, with lots of restaurants, stores and a metro station in a 7-8 minutes walk. The best thing about the hotel are the amenities: free ramen, beer and drinks everyday (when I read this at the description of the hotel I couldn’t believe but this is actually very true!), ice cream, fun activities everyday, friendly staff, toilet amenities available so you can take whenever you need, etc.. They were also very nice offering a welcome gift for me and my husband for our honeymoon. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I come back to Osaka.

Location was perfect. Right next to the metro station and within walking distance to Dotonbori, the Glico Sign, and many major shopping streets and food markets. The room itself was clean and comfortable, although it was on the smaller side (which is typical for Japan). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and were even able to assist with shipping my larger suitcase to my next hotel so I wouldn't have to carry it on the Shinkansen.
