About 5 minutes walk to Hirayu onsen station, good location. The most surprising thing is that there were 3 available chartered onsens(for free), which can be used privately(you can lock the door). The onsen water was excellent, though a little bit too hot.

After hiking at kamakochi; very nice onsen, all you can eat buffet with traditional japanese food, very comfy bed, japanese style room, massage chairs, you get japanese pyamas where you can walk all day in (even to the restaurant). Completly relaxing.

The breakfast was traditional Japanese. There were foods I had never eaten before.it was beautiful. Beautifully presented. The staff were very helpful and explained what every dish was.the breakfast had local produce.
