On the first day of my stay, two flights were cancelled due to the typhoon and the owners were kind enough to cancel the first day of my stay so that I did not suffer any further financial loss. The rooms are clean and well equipped and there are lots of cheap supermarkets on on weekends, which is a great experience.

The house is about a 10-minute walk from Motohasunuma Station. It's a standalone house, and we stayed on the ground floor, which has two bedrooms with tatami floors and Japanese-style futons — giving it a nice traditional feel. There is one toilet and one shower room. Overall, it’s suitable for 5–6 people and comes fully equipped with all necessary facilities. The host responds to messages quickly.

Very quiet neighborhood, nice family owned business. The house and facilities are clean and all the other guests were considerate of others. We had a lovely stay and went shopping at Old Nakasendo every day :)

It's nice place to stay, whether with family, friends or solo. The distance was reasonable and affordable to the train station or convenient/ supermarket/ shop. Just the train line does not really cover the JR line. Bit far from the main station which is mostly covered under JR line. But it is still easy access to reach your destination, just an extra step.
