This hotel was the perfect stay for our holiday near the mountains. It was right next to the city center and had everything you could possibly within walking distance. The staff was extraordinarily kind, the rooms were amazing and breakfast was very tasty. The absolute best stay in Chiang Mai.

Staff was the number one thing we loved about this place. They helped us select great excursions that fit our family's preferences (staff includes at least one former guide). James, Lulu, and the rest of the staff patiently and happily devote time to helping guests solve these and other problems. Great breakfast including menu choices.

The location was perfect for strolling through the city and the perfect starting point to see Loy Krathong and Yi Peng festival! Jimmy and Jeng are super friendly locals with a perfect knowledge of their town and absolutely pleased to help with any question. The breakfast was very good, I especially recommend the fruit muesli bowl with homemade joghurt! The room is simple and the ac is the only comfort you'll get here. If you wanna book here, you should be more interested in living like a local and get to know the local community and their lifestyle. You won't find any luxury over here. But for anyone adventurous who likes staying with locals, have a chat with them and getting to know their lives: this is the place for you! You won't find a better location to start your walk around the old town of chiang mai!

I had a much needed rest at Paapu's house. I was very ill when I arrived in Thailand and this was the best place I could have been. Really gives you a home comfort feel and Paapu was so kind in accommodating extra needs. The rooms are very comfy and clean, but I would recommend opting for an air con room as with just the fan it was quite warm. There's lot of little places to relax outside of the room and plenty of tips on what to see and do.

What a perfect little place! Tucked away in a small alley, nice and quiet, and with a lovely owner. The room was spotless, huge bed with Thai style mattress, fridge, kettle, and a really good shower. The little balcony was lovely, and the screen doors meant I could sleep with the balcony doors open. There are bikes on site available to use, as well as a kitchen and laundry!!! 3asy walking distance to the market and old town. Communication was quick and easy - every question answered promptly. I will definitely be staying here again

Our host was very kind to us, always provided bottled water, greeted us with fruits, bread and jam. It was during the Loy Krathong festival so she helped us with info about the surroundings. Right beside the Ping River so the location was great for the festival. She was so kind and gentle with our kids, i felt like she took care of them as if her own. I would come back anytime!!

Check in and check out was a breeze and the hostel is clean and comfortable. I requested for ironing facilities and it was prepared before I checked in. The convenience of having a washer (complete with detergent and softener) is a bonus. Although the dryer was broken, there is a plug in fan to blow dry the clothes in the room. The owner is very friendly and communicated well with us throughout the stay, she was also kind enough to provide and top up plenty of drinking water, fruits, beverages and bread. We love the location as it’s nearby alot of good eateries and night bazaar
