Cute small house in a relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet, enjoyed the pool area and nice breakfast. The location was very good, very nice restaurants right next to the hotel on the street side. Easy to rent scooters from the stores nearby.

Perfect in every way!! Only missing a nice beach but everything else made up for it and there is a fab beach only ten minutes walk away!.

First: the coffee. As few wrote before, it’s really good. Don’t miss it, really. The staff: honestly this is one of the warmest welcome and stay I had in years. The young ladies from both shifts are very very helpful and really kind, they support with whatever they can and give answers about things on the island. Their attitude vs customers is indeed remarkable. Also they help with good and cheap food location recommendations, pretty cheap laundry service etc. There is a shuttle (golf cart) which can shorten the time to the main street to 2 minutes. Location is pretty close to everything (10mins walk to the main street) but it is somehow secluded, it’s pretty quiet. The beach is literally there, it’s the private beach of the hotel, and you don’t have to worry about beach towels and other beach stuff and accessories, there is even a bag for the beach in the room. The breakfast is not included but they can make some really good sandwiches. Well overall this might be somehow a bit pricey compared to other locations, but it’s kinda worth it - location, staff and new bungalows. For food indeed Good Luck is a good price/ quality ratio, Tom Yum is great here. For cocktails search for Kim’s bar (nearby the first 7eleven). One day book a boat and stay 5-6 hrs on the Koh Wai beach.

The hotel was the perfect little getaway! Very calm but with evenings full of good food and sometimes live music. The staff were all extremely helpful and I would suggest everyone to chat with them and ask for help when you need it. Also the private boat/snorkling trips they provide are great and not too expensive! The people that are with you when on it are also awesome. The purpose of our trip was to relax and that for sure was succesfull in this clean and safe piece of heaven on the klong prao beach.

The Garden s resort is a wonderful place to stay in. Not only because it is beautiful and quiet, but the « spirit » that Mouse, the owner, is bringing to the place is nice, smart and peaceful. we had a chance to stay during a time when there were very few tourists, so it might help. but the bungalows are beautiful without being pretentious, the swimming pool is a beauty and the breakfast is delicious. yes, you have to cross the street to reach the beach. But being « on » the beach is not everything and there are plenty of advantages to stay in the garden « nest », specially for a family.

Amazing place on the quieter side of Koh Chang. I was lucky to get the cabin A3 with amazing views of the sea. The cabin was clean and everything needed was there. Don't expect 5 star luxury but if you love simple bungalows, birds singing and the bush then this is your place, 100% would go again 😌
