This is my second time staying at this hostel and was the reason that I came to Tainan for. The hostel is exceptional compared to all other ones I have stayed in. There are books all over the building, incorporated with traditional Taiwanese style building. Two stays, four years apart, still my favourite hostel.

The staff is very friendly and we can feel she really loves her job and takes good care of the place. The room is comfortable, spacious and clean. The location is near the train station (700m). Overall, we highly recommend The Wind Guesthouse.

We received a free upgrade to a big room as we were staying for 4 nights. This room was really amazing. Comfortable beds, good enough sound isolation, enormous tv (we never watch tv on holiday, but with netflix integrated we couldnt miss it) and friendly staff. Location is also fine, close enough to most things. I read a few reviews about the noise in the bathroom, but this was fine for us. It makes some noise, but stops soon enough. No problem at all. Would definitaly recommend.

Location is really good, Ubike stop nearby so you can easily rent a bike and go to West Central district where there are many food options.
