Loved the pool area and a hotel bar is always a great bonus for travellers. The shuttle to Universal Studios was great and saved parking fees at the park. The staff were fantastic and the cost wasn't bad relative to alternatives albeit it certainly isn't cheap. Great location for Universal and Warner Bros. The onsite restaurant is also a decent and convenient option.

Lovely welcome, very courteous treatment! It was great, that we were allowed to leave our car in the hotel parking lot after checking out - so we could walk to Universal Studios. When we came back late in the afternoon we were even offered a coffee! Simply a very good attitude from the operators - people will want to return!

The hotel has a very cosy feel and everything felt very personalised. The rooms are Luxe, spacious and well appointed. The balcony is a bonus. But what made this hotel stand out for us, was the service. The staff were all amazing and always obliged. There was nothing they could not do for us.

Everything. The whole experience has made me want to book another trip, just to go and stay there again. I'm not surprised it is so popular with travellers, I imagine it hasn't lost one bit of charm or service since it opened in the early part of the last century.
